the only times I’ve been in the woods at night have been either while on LSD or when I’ve volunteered on a meteor shower night at the science museum’s observatory. Never had a tent or slept out there, though

I was never in scouts but I like to consider having been a professional choirgirl as a kid to the equivalent (Always be prepared- even when you only have your backpack & $50 to last a 4 day weekend in another city without your family!)
