"After the first strike, the boat's occupants continued swimming toward America on bales of cocaine" is a very compelling explanation.

I'll bet Ukraine could possibly use these vehicles.

Elbows up, thumbs down.

"After the first strike, the boat's occupants continued swimming toward America on bales of cocaine" is going to play really well at this hearing.

"After the first strike, the boat's occupants continued swimming toward America on bales of cocaine" didn't seem like a story he could get 'on board' with.

Maybe they should try voting.

Kash Patel is going to pull out the exact outfit, backpack and shoes the bomber wore, but forget to remove the Target anti-theft sensor and price tags.

That's Western Society: watching the smallest kid on the playground slap the tar out of the school bully and still giving him their lunch money the next day.

The last massive Russian assault in Ukraine was five assholes in a Lada, and Europe is still quaking.

Margins are close because only fifty-two percent of eligible voters actually vote.

It's not polarization, it's indifference.

Solid +22 R district becomes +4 R in a special election?

As a bellweather, this loss is a win, and I’ll take the win.

Achieve 65% voter turnout in a general election and gerrymandering no longer works.

It relies on low turnout, and we always deliver.

Interesting thread. Nice talking to you.

If Kamala was running, for sure.

We all saw how anti-black misogyny votes in the US, but her just showing up to endorse a candidate won’t encourage or discourage special election turnout, which is historically low already. The 50% of Dem supporting voters who don’t vote is still the main problem🤬
December 3, 2025 at 1:37 AM
Harris, Obama, Hillary Clinton and the ghost of JFK could show up to rally there and it would still be a R+22 district.
Her endorsement/non-endorsement has no effect whatsoever on GOP voters in Georgia, who are never voting democrat.

“Kamala showed up? Well now I’m going to vote extra Republican!”
December 3, 2025 at 1:24 AM
The district is massively gerrymandered to R+22.

Even Behn losing -10 is still a tectonic political shift for Dems.

It was gerrymandered to ensure that democrats could NEVER possibly compete in this district.

The GGOP considered this district R unopposed.

If Bradley followed that order, he’s not being thrown under the bus.

He’s a bus driver.

A US Navy admiral knows that firing on shipwrecked survivors is a war crime, full stop.

The midshipman who fired the missile is also driving the bus.

The UCMJ is not ambiguous.
