Blue Stilton by Thomas Dux
not as creamy or aromatic as expected, but still a nice bit of cheese

As my pal @anarchyridge.com.au and I close up our little project, we have one last episode of yapping about movies to finish two years of banter.

Instead of a random theme we freely picked movies to show each other this time:

Killing Zoe (1993) & Joe's Apartment (1996)

Thanks for listening!

I need to stop watching videos of foreigners talking about their experiences in Australia. Nobody realises that Aus is a big and super diverse place and thinks that everywhere is the same as the one place they've visited.

It would be like me thinking Europe was like Paris everywhere. It's stupid.

it's 39 degrees today and I'm about to go to a gig after work... time to puddle my way through a sweat tsunami

on my way home from a gig tonight, I grabbed a drive-through burger from Hungry Jacks for the first time in many years... am immediately reminded why it's been years since the last one

My pal @anarchyridge.com.au and I talked about low budget indie films!

Specifically the extremely Australian comedy The Castle (1997) and the absurdly vulgar nonsense Trailer Town (2003).

This episode includes wholesome vibes but also possibly the biggest disagreement of the whole show. lol

sometimes you get what you pay for, like the cheap Danish Blue I bought on the weekend that was just about tasteless and an unpleasant texture... ended up throwing half of it away

always invest in decent cheese

had Esrom cheese today for the first time... love the soft and smooth flavour, especially as it looks a bit bland but really has a good slap of taste in there - a new fav

today's selection was a Costello Blue - super creamy and quite light for a blue, with the occasional sharp tang

considering how easy it is to sell music online these days, I never understand artists who don't sell their music online, but still have it on every streaming platform

My pal @anarchyridge.com.au and I have blabbered about some more films. This time we talk crime movies.

Specifically the stylistic 2005 high school noir flick Brick and grimy German 2019 true crime film The Golden Glove.

So if you're in the mood for some kino talk, give us a listen!

I've learned that i can pretty much fall asleep anywhere - last weekend I spent a full day in a chair getting a tattoo and I dozed off a few times - today I got a filling at the dentist and was on the verge of snoozing

just get me horizontal and I'm done

My pal @anarchyridge.com.au and I spun the wheel of subjects once more and picked 2 films of the coming-of-age variety to yap about.

Almost Famous (2000) & A Coffee in Berlin (2012)

If you need some background noise while pondering over your own strained relationship with your parents, here ya go!

I find it baffling that AusPost consistently delivers packages to the wrong address - to addresses that have no similarities to my address - I even have a very clear street number and signage to try and help them out...

but this is still not any door I've ever seen

My pal @anarchyridge.com.au and I have been yapping about some movies that "you could not make nowadays".
We talk about what people might mean with that and discuss two films that could fall into those arguments.

Men Behind The Sun (1988)
Léon: The Professional (1994)
