I think that if you like any of his other movies, you’d like this one if only because it’s a gorgeous Gothic feast.

Even if you hate it, you should still watch it. I’ve read Frankenstein and I love the book, but I also love GDT’s Frankenstein. I don’t mind the changes that del Toro made, he’s telling a story about generational trauma (& it’s very Mexican subtextually lol).

I’m going to Hollywood next week to watch it at the Egyptian Theater! I’m so excited for it, I really didn’t want to watch it on a small screen and wait until November either.
