Just another old white guy, but not THAT kind of old white guy. Woodstock survivor. Software developer since the late 70s, still at it today. Worried for my kids about climate--and now about the survival of democracy in the US.
... then backing up to run over him again.

Just to be clear, the first strike was every bit as illegal as the second one.
December 2, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Is there not one person in the administration with the guts to tell him that this is literally impossible? Not a single one? They're all just going to let him keep embarrassing himself?

"Activist judge" = "Any judge whose ruling I don't like."
November 30, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Judges' orders are "lawful and binding" *by definition*, unless and until they are overturned by a higher court.
November 30, 2025 at 6:03 PM
Well, I dunno. This American got an electric kettle a few years ago and would never even *think* about going back to stovetop.
November 30, 2025 at 6:01 PM
Look, pal, if you weren't providing your turkeys with smoothies, well, that's animal abuse as far as I'm concerned.

I'm notifying PETA.

Scientists wouldn't say "vaccines don't cause autism" anyway. They would say that there is no good evidence that vaccines *do* cause autism.

So we can conclude that we have someone employed by the CDC who doesn't understand how science works.

DONNIE: ONE MORE TIME: NETWORKS DON'T HAVE LICENSES.

Geeze, bro, buy a clue somewhere. Or hire someone who has one and isn't afraid to tell you.
November 19, 2025 at 3:06 AM
One wonders if Trump will ever understand that networks don't have or need licenses, so there is nothing to pull. I guess not.
November 19, 2025 at 2:58 AM
Oh! There were people who didn't like Khashoggi? I didn't know that.

This, of course, changes everything.
November 19, 2025 at 2:56 AM
"Insubordinate"? Does he think the reporter works for or reports to MBS? Or does he just not know what the word means?
November 19, 2025 at 2:52 AM
"I'm going to try really hard not to murder any more journalists."
November 19, 2025 at 2:22 AM
STILL doesn't understand that networks don't have or need licenses.
November 19, 2025 at 2:15 AM
He wasn't Bill Clinton, but he was an important and reliable Senate vote, and they cast him aside with barely a quibble. I don't think the Party would do much, if anything, to save Clinton.
November 17, 2025 at 6:09 PM
The Democratic party tossed Al Franken because of a sophomoric photo.
November 15, 2025 at 11:11 PM
Yes, *much* less.
November 14, 2025 at 7:13 PM
What they consistently fail to understand is that Democrats are not going to protect anyone who was involved in this just because he is a Democrat.

They simply can't wrap their minds around this.
November 14, 2025 at 3:40 PM
This is a war I will never abandon.
November 14, 2025 at 1:48 PM
Nope. And it's a moot point anyway, since only Trump is this tacky. And that includes other Republicans.
November 12, 2025 at 12:52 PM
He's totally right. As we all know, the purpose of a government is to enrich the people who are running it. Duh.
November 8, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Well, no one. That's part of the problem.

But anyone who explicitly says that they're not going to follow court rulings should not be anywhere near the government.
November 7, 2025 at 3:37 PM
"We're not going to do it under the orders of a judge" sounds like grounds for impeachment to me.
November 7, 2025 at 3:31 PM
"The current governor of Virginia is a Republican" ... as are 6 of their 11 reps in the House.
November 6, 2025 at 3:30 PM
He doesn't mention that the number of items has been reduced from 21 to 15 and that most of the name brand items have been replaced by store brands.

My theory: Walmart realized that the cost of a 2024-equivalent meal would increased to the point where too many people would walk away.
