I just had to. As a kid I always wanted a #c64. Financial shortcomings forced me to go for a #atari 800 XL. That definitely had been a nice machine but I always envied my peers having access to a load of more games.

I am so happy. I am so proud. I have been promoted to Fellow at #ZEISS - a company mainly fused by physics and optics innovations.

Thank you for your support, @squillace.bsky.social @technosophos.bsky.social!

Funny. Neat. Sweet. They made the "Cancel Subscription here" really very, very small. On the bottom of the screen. Almost unnoticeable. Like the other less substantial footers. #canceldisney

@ancientitguy.bsky.social shares his initial exploration of Dapr Agents and Agentic Workflows.

Kai blends deterministic workflows with LLM‑driven agents using Dapr to orchestrate voice-to-action pipelines in a practical hands-on project:

Exploring with #dapr how to combine determinic #workflow with #agentic #ai - a pattern that I think will be very relevant for the adoption in enterprises:

Me and my buddy #ChatGPT fighting Logic App Inline JavaScript limitations to generate a form-data/multi-part payload to call some speed-to-text services ... the script now exactly has 1024 bytes, works but the "Get File Content" action is named "C" now 😂!

A new JS/TS SDK! Check out the latest video from @thorstenhans.bsky.social and @karthikganeshram.bsky.social.

I've written a few apps with this new SDK, and it is excellent for building really powerful serverless functions.

Latecomer new years resolution: crawl out of and get some more distance to the attention grabbing #socialmedia ecosystems. Only engage with content, that I am directly pointed to.

Any advise on detoxing here?

A decade and a half ago, PaaS was a well-defined space. Recently, some tools that are claiming to be PaaS actually require developers to do infrastructure engineering. This is not PaaS, as our CEO, @technosophos.bsky.social writes here: bit.ly/408L5I5
What Isn't A PaaS
The promise of PaaS is that developers can build an app, and then deploy it without having to do any additional infrastructure configuration. But a few recent tools claim to be PaaS, yet force develop...

Mark the day (today) I installed #bash LSP in #neovim. It has been a long journey coming from #powershell ... and many other unholy OS scripting "languages" / JCLs. Does anybody here remember Voice on ADR Vollie for #IBM Host? That was the craziest one I ever laid my hands on.

The image here shows a more or less walled up cavity along a long abandoned railway track in my area. I wonder why they did that? Did indecent people hide in that cavity and jump the train?
Anyway somehow I associate this remaining hole with SSH, a hole in any system you can exploit for whatever!
