After 22 years, this job is still surreal at times. Called to a rapid tonight where I had the privilege of helping a family understand what a gentle, natural death could look like vs. ICU transfer for a death most certain to be quite opposite. It’s moments like these I’m most proud of. ❤️

Going back for my PhD at age 42 was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Especially with this crew ❤️
