Thanks, fellow Andromeda. This is the pep talk I need when I feel like what I’m doing (making calls, sharing facts, etc.) is Not Enough.

We’ve all been there. Take care of yourself and the family. Crosswords can always be solved later.

I was scheduled to work until closing at my retail job the night we learned who killed Laura Palmer. I remember driving home as fast as I could, and bursting through the door just in time for the reveal. Yeah, we taped it, but watching it later wouldn’t have been the same. RIP, David Lynch.

“Becoming” by Michelle Obama is the closest thing to a memoir by a politician that I’ve read. She’s a political figure, anyway, even though she dislikes politics.

Five stars, own two copies (audio and hardcover), highly recommend.

Ooo! I almost forgot! Looking for a book for a septuagenarian Austen fan who recently decided she likes cozy mysteries. Loved the Thursday Murder Club, currently binging “Death in Paradise” and “Marlowe Murder Club”. Book must be largely upbeat, lightly comic. TIA!

Looking to see if they ship. Interested in independent roasters wherever I find them.
