They're not trying to censor American viewpoints; they're trying to make American tech companies follow EU laws when active in the EU. Imagine, Americans follow other's laws? the shock...

I know but so many are still mindlessly believing the bs propaganda from Faux news and the White House. It baffles me how people can be so willfully ignorant. Especially when a pillar like Freedom of speech is so obviously under threat.

It is kind of funny in all its' gloomyness. Just a year ago if you spoke to an American online you were told that only the US has Freedom of Speech. Now you don't. But the rest of the free world still do and we use it.

Your First Amendment is only valid for one side of government, haven't you figured that out yet? Only Republicunts are allowed to say and do what they want. Anybody else who can be viewed as against their views is to be silenced.

It's time to explain to Mr Orban that the EU is built on several shared values. If he can't stand up to those he should be kicked out. Hungary should be given a choice, get rid of Orban or leave the EU.

US can say that however much they want. If the EU won't accept it, no Russian wares will cross the Schengen area or EU in general.

I honestly think his mind is so addled his yes-men convince him that what he says is true and he can't understand why opponents would say anything else. It's like he lives in a padded room, handled by people around him who tells him what he wants to hear.

Except all other good points in this threads, apart from the price of gas, everything is more expensive in the US - food, public transport (what there is), all forms of insurance...why would anyone trade down? Nobody moves TO a fascist hell hole - you flee.

One problem is that even if you have a sane president now, nobody can promise that any agreements or deals that are made will stand when another is elected in 4 years. You can't trust a country that changes the rules every 4 years. You had a good run, USA, but now it's time to reevaluate.
