This work began by identifying the disabled communities underrepresented in subtitle research, followed by a co-design approach with underserved groups (People with Aphasia) that explores their challenges in using subtitles and evaluates their experience of using the prototypes developed.

💡Takeaway 2: The future perspectives on accessible subtitled media will be explored through human-centred design. Our solution will be developed iteratively to gather feedback from people with aphasia at every stage.
