Bingo’s food bowl is in my closet. She comes in, goes to the door and stares at me. I have to guess if she wants love (being picked up), back scratches, or food. Or all three. Or any two. Guessing wrong gets a serious look of disdain. She owns me.

They’re just happy I’m out with them. I’ve been a bit emotional lately, reliving the trauma that began a year ago with Pat’s cancer dx. I’m better today. It’s been 8 months since he died. I miss laughing with him the most.
