And the second I post this, I see that he was waived.

I feel so bad for JS. Been a proponent of keeping him the rest of the season in case of injuries & for defensive matchups, etc. But if this is his lot going forward, maybe they should part ways. Any chance SA's holding him out to avoid injury so if waived, he's got a shot to get picked up elsewhere?

What, you didn't enjoy the approximately 73 AI ads? I, for one, want to learn more ways that AI can free me from having to learn anymore. Bring on the brain rott! Er, rotte? Oh, who cares? AI will fix that for me.

Oh well. I guess it's time to move on to scouring waiver candidates for potential 3-pt shooting depth.

I'd love it if they kept him and worked something out over the summer. I still feel like he could be a valuable bench piece, especially if they don't re-sign Harrison Barnes.

Wow! If everyone who is questionable sits out, that's a lot of firepower missing, especially in the backcourt. Feels like gamesmanship, almost an "if we lose, OKC can't claim they've regained the upper hand in the series" type of move.

This bums me out. At almost every stage of his pro career, Sochan has gotten a raw deal. Point Sochan experiment, backup center duty, multiple injuries when playing well. I know the shot isn't there, but he brings so much defense, smart cutting, energy, & spritely mischief-making. Will miss him.

More good news. Since the loss at OKC, Victor has gone 90% (28-31) on free throws and has not missed one in his last three games.

Fun article, although I take a bit of issue with the notion that Atlanta is a decent club that’s ascending. Based on their play this year compared to expectations and ESPECIALLY in the last week, I might posit that they're actually descending.

Ewe! These jokes suck.

Weird take about a haircut.

In the accompanying photo, Bryant looks like he could be Victor's young, wide-eyed son, getting some advice from his grizzled (22-year-old) father.

This is one of the reasons I love Jeremy. Besides his relentless defense, he takes such impish pleasure in needling guys, all with a smile on his face. He's always in perpetual "who, me?" mode. It's a delight. I'm glad to see him getting more time, both for his self-esteem & for my entertainment.

Because of the NBA cup final, Wembanyama's season is actually 83 games long and he can miss up to 18 to qualify for the 65-game rule. He can still miss 4 more, though that may ultimately be moot with so many left and how cautious the Spurs are.

Who is that next to the bear? Too fuzzy to make out. Prince William? Random AI-generated business bro?

I still hold out a kernel of hope for Jeremy. If not w/ the Spurs, then somewhere else. He's had a rough go of it ever since the point guard experiment: playing backup center, plus multiple injuries just as he was hitting a groove. Love his defense & playful feistiness but he may need a fresh start.
