Mars Express (2023) - 9/10

If I had a nickel for every french animated movie that came out in my country recently that I enjoyed a lot I'd have 2 nickels. This was such a good ride, the sci-fi setting, the murder mystery turned conspiracy, the action, all on a great level of quality. Really good.

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (2010) - 10/10

I rewatch this yearly with my irl friend group and it still hits just as hard. Despite it being my 5th time rewatching it I keep noticing things I didn't on my previous watches. Still a phenomenal film that makes the show's journey worth it.

Flow (2024) - 8/10

This is a great silent film, I don't recall if I've ever watched another one before but this left a great impression on me. The art style is phenomenal and the animals were all made to move and act with so much detail it's insane. The ending did leave me a bit confused but great.

Finally got my physical copy of Love Bullet and the packaging is so good??

They included this heartfelt letter thanking people for buying physical manga and this is so nice and beautiful 🥹

New Bug Ego chapter proves a month's wait will not diminish the impact of it. Absolutely strapped in for the crazy ride this is gonna be.

People are always spending their so called "pretty pennies" on stuff.

I, for one, like to spend my absolute ugliest pennies first so I'm left with a wealth pretty pennies.

Share your ugly and/or pretty pennies to spread awareness on this.

Just finished reading Shikimori and... it's good.

Although I dropped the anime, reading the manga felt very different and it let me appreciate everything this story had to tell. It was a little simple but it was very sweet, endearing and most importantly, cute. 8/10

Reading through Shikimori, I always find it funny when I see a single panel of a character and I immediately think "this guy's probably voiced by the Bakugo VA" and 9 times out of 10 I've been right. Kinda crazy how he became the default voice for the energetic/loud male side characters.

Everyone drop everything, new manga by ONE just dropped with not one but FOUR phenomenal chapters at once. (At least if you're reading on MANGA Plus)

I can't remember the last time I cackled this hard over some gags and this just kept hitting punchline after punchline.

Here's the anime movie 3x3

One thing I will say about this one is that I didn't include the Made in Abyss movie to keep variety up
November 14, 2024 at 7:17 PM
Decided to do an anime 3x3 again, also I didn't include movies because I'll do a movie 3x3 right after this

Here's my MAL as well if anyone's curious:

expected to see. It was a bittersweet one that, in my honest opinion, perfectly concluded this rollercoaster of a series.

to push on forward living, not regretting that they're gone, but honoring them by living a plentiful life. Despite the short amount of chapters used to convey all of this I think they perfectly encapsulate this feeling. While this isn't the happy ending many wanted, or the depressing one some- (5/6)

The last 3 chapters showed us the aftermath of it all, all of the suffering that came with his loss and how everyone managed to move on. I've seen some people critique this saying everyone recovered too fast. But on the contrary, I know how grief can be fuel for others- (4/6)

he really wanted to convince himself that it could all turn out alright so he'd be able to live happily afterwards. Sadly he knew deep inside that Kamiki really was a monster that couldn't be redeemed, so he did what he originally set out to do, finish him off himself without involving others. (3/6)

While the whole final arc with the movie production did give the feeling that Aqua was going to resolve this without sacrificing himself, it was clear by the end that a lot of it was him testing his father to confirm whether he was really irredeemable or not. And you can tell that- (2/6)
