Just finished "Babel" yesterday myself, and my head is still spinning. How did you manage to throw us into a completely realistic world AND teach us basically a university-course on post-colonial linguistics (and philosophy and literature)?
Now I*really* need to go study Irish (Irish gaelic)...

Come to Ireland. Especially Cork. We support writers artists, and comedians way better here than in Some Other Countries. Artists even get a living wage! And there are still actual bookstores!

I also get "How long are you in Cork?" I'm finally answering correctly ("I arrived this past summer.") They're not asking how long I'm staying; they're asking how long I've been here.
