Sarven is so bloody cool in Gamma Surge. What do you mean "this character cannot turn around without a super so his moveset and inputs are designed to be independent on where he is on screen"? That's a fantastic idea and I wish I could play him (I was the scrub Zoe player in this clip, sorry)

Just tested it with the devs and honestly it works very smoothly - please do not mind how much my Zoe gameplay sucks, you can't ask me to actually play an anime fighter decently😆 Also, Lilith's zoning is horrifying😅

The game has several bugs, ESPECIALLY when Gyavadaruga is involved. Two variants of his special move are bugged against two characters. Some characters deal a metric ton of damage while he has almost nothing going for it.
Gyava is Missing Link Potemkin, but with a good super.

The problem is that, aside from that, he doesn't really have anything else. Lowest damage in the cast, two specials that are semi-bugged, air-techable anti-air grab...

I was at Fighters Fest 3 in Munich this afternoon, where @hundert.bsky.social ran a double elimination ExploJudo side bracket! It was a lot of fun and I got some useful balance notes - which will be implemented in v1.2!
