I was not able to attend live sessions or discussion sessions (West coaster), but I learned SO MUCH from you this fall and plan on signing up for 102. Every session revealed things we've always been told, that were wrong or outright lies. You are amazing. Thank you.

And in the everloving heck is an aesthetic cafe? Which my autocorrect tried to change to "arthritic cage". The term "aesthetic cafe" makes me want to delete all my social media, burn all my devices and go live in a cave. Mostly to avoid anyone who calls themselves an influencer.

When I was 25, if a 17 year old wanted to get with me I would have been all "ew no come back in 5 years". By 25 I realized how young 17 was. By 30 I understood power differentials and why Bill Clinton is just disgusting and predatory. These days at 55 I can't imagine dating one's subordinate.

Even if you factor in the fact that I was probably more mature than some of those idiots I dated, there's a huge gap between 17 and 25. So basically the movie is about a pedo dating an underage girl. And Dad eventually accepted it because of dancing?!?
