Querying and changing Windows display information working now via #Python! #homeassistant is working as well but needs updating to include the brightness settings.

Percival in the UK is touting a 25% sale though has increased (already expensive) T shirt prices from 49 to 59 pounds so in the end the discount is 4.75 pounds or ~10%. I feel like it should be easier to report misleading price reductions in the UK…

Getting there with my library to control displays. First on Windows, then Linux. Easily change display config and monitor settings. Available first in Rust, then Python, and finally #homeassistant via MQTT!

Are there any #Windows display wizards able to crack this question?

I have display paths like “\\.\DISPLAY 1”. Then I have display registry info at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\DISPLAY which includes edid. How can one map the path to the serial number from the edid?

#Python Click 8.1.8 is around the corner! Just one more documentation PR to merge! Quickly after it is 8.2.0 once the new support for any generic iterable (finally including enums) in Choice have been documented.

Still lots of PRs/issues to go for a clean(er) slate. 🤗
