Governor Tim Walz was briefed on ‘ongoing situation’ in which Minneapolis-area state senator and representative were attacked Two Minnesota lawmakers have been shot in their separate homes. Local news stations identified the victims as state senator John Hoffman and state representative Melissa Hortman. Both are members of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party.
