Yesterday could have been the one day this season with decent snow around here, and I may have chosen not the ideal location ...
But still got some nice shots (with the Nikon Z 7 II and 24-120 mm 😉)

So it turns out 5 m of lights don't get you all that far if you insist on wrapping a bonsai in an orderly fashion (spiraling in and out along the branches from base to tip and back) ... 😬
Guess next time I'll try jumping from branch to branch, where possible to hide the wire in the foliage. 🙄
Ficus benjamina bonsai with a wide, domed canopy, some of it's lower branches wrapped with a chain of tiny LED lights that illuminate the root base and lower trunk.

See in dichtem Nebel, eine Reihe Gänse kann auf dem Wasser noch erkannt werden, die Bäume am anderen Ufer muß man schon erahnen.
