Dinner tonight (a nod to the old homeland) was ostrich steak. Served with boiled potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, sauteed mushrooms and spiced red cabbage (with herbs, seeds and cashews). And a creamy peppercorn sauce.

So I put some concerted time, love and life into my starter.
Foolishly cooking without my glasses, picked up the wrong flour jar and used self raising flour not strong white.
