Tariffs are similar to sales tax as it is a regressive tax, impacting the lower income more than the wealthy. It is interesting how the middle-class Trump voter voted for this regressive tax approach. I understand that the wealthy voted for Trump because of lower income taxes at the higher end.

I just don't understand why someone would support this administration on its haphazard handling of tarrifs, slash and burn approach to government and its complete reversal on Ukraine. Do people really like that we are siding with Russia?
