A deer is a deer and a moose is a moose; but they are both classified as cervids (ie., in the family Cervidae) the common name for which is just deer. But a moose ain’t no deer! (Source: I am 🇨🇦 and we know our mooses).

Damn. Was just sitting here in front of my computer wishing I was walking along the shoreline somewhere; will likely remain here because of guilt at not getting enough work done today. Enjoy the breakwater and don’t feel bad for me. Not at all, I’ll be fine. Probably. I guess.

The cat looks really nice but I think if you want a more realistic portrayal of a sleeping cat it should look more like what’s snoozing beside my desk right now.

Reading Twitter/X these days makes me feel sad; there is just so much hate and vitriol over there now. I’m no longer posting anything on Twitter but am leaving my account stand but only so the bots (aka Elon’s “followers”) don’t scoop it up and start spewing crap using my name.

With that much work and effort you must feel that LinkedIn is a worthy platform for your course. Is there something about LinkedIn that makes it a better platform than, say, Cousera, Thinkific or Khan Academy? Any insights you have would be great. Thanks 😃
