That makes a lot of sense. I think Habs will trade him because they need someone much better to feed Demidov and Laine. I think it’s going to be their priority.

Acquiring draft picks is nice but the Habs will need some bodies back in their trades. Laval is already thin with all their injuries.

But what if you package both Savard and Evans to a contender? That would solidify an already solid lineup requiring a little more depth to go far in the playoffs.
