many things in combination! what helped the most was to beef up the server where we host our tools to ensure CPU / RAM were not a bottleneck, plus move to a background job + polling architecture for processing blobs, so we're not bound by usual request-response timeouts

back in 2020 i joined a few videogame discords looking for something to do during lockdown, and out of the blue i got a DM from someone addressing me using a handle I hadn't used since 2012 on a completely unrelated space! it was so crazy!
