I did that route 2 weeks ago. Really easy. However, border control on the platform whilst waiting for the LTG train was a bit of a surprise.

I'm doing the same journey with stops in Vilnius and Riga. I've got tickets for the lounge in Vilnius, but I'm not expecting much.. paid drinks and snacks from a machine doesn't sound very VIP.

I took the FART on a Swiss Rail Pass back in 2008. A really memorable journey.

Ah, that's good news. ebilet.intercity.pl shows an Interrail reservations link but the home page at www.intercity.pl doesn't.

It's great that @raileurope can do reservations for Spain but intercity.pl can't do them for Poland 😠

I'm doing a similar trip in May. Might see you on the way. I'll be visiting the new 1st class "lounge" in Vilnius. I could take some photos.

I had a sleeping car booking for 2nd May and the bed numbers matched the new-generation stock.
