Which didn't seem like such a bad price for US healthcare.
We had to go this summer, suspecting daughter may have broken a bone. The visit with X-ray totalled $230, my understanding was that a cast wouldn't have been more than double that amount.

What lead to urgent care centers becoming so common? I don't recall seeing them 15-20 years ago.
