The court has granted our request for a temporary restraining order to stop the federal government from unlawfully sharing personal financial data with DOGE.

This must now stop, pending a full hearing, and any downloaded data must be deleted.

We have a cover!!! The Oxford Handbook of Biblical Monsters is in production. We tried to put together articles that would foster a dialogue between traditional scholarship and more contemporary monster/horror. Now it's waiting, and preparing for the fun that will be proofing and indexing.

Why is "Do your own research" terrible advice? Because of confirmation bias and motivated reasoning.

People with a distrust of experts and consensus in a given field, a field in which they themselves are not experts, will seek and find something to support what they already believe.
