LOTS of the reactions to #Nosferatu have been centered around the Count’s new choice of facial hair, and listen, feel any way about it you want, but… here’s the most well-known portrait of a certain infamous Transylvanian. If anything, Eggers’ version gets points for being accurate for a change.

#TheLordOfTheRings is not just a Christmas movie, but a perfect one at that. Discuss.

Since it was announced, #Nosferatu has been my most anticipated movie of 2024, & I just managed to score free tix from their website countdown. Every step of the marketing campaign has been total brilliance (I’m pleasantly stunned they’ve managed to keep Orlok’s appearance so secret). I am READY.

#Book lovers: my hands-down choice for the best (if not, certainly the most magical & wonder-filled) book of the last 10+ years is on a RIDICULOUS sale on Audible right now.
Susanna Clarke’s #Piranesi will change how you see our world after you leave the one inside its pages. A *perfect* work of art

“It was on a dreary night of November that I beheld the accomplishment of my toils.”

Seated (with some scene-setting rain outside) for an electric performance of Mary Shelley’s #Frankenstein at Lowell’s Merrimack Repertory Theater.

Thanksgiving week? Pssh. Spooky season is never over.

Like a lot of others, I’ve finally ditched the cesspool that X has become after 10+ years for greener pastures - or, if you can forgive me, bluer skies. Here to chat books, comics, horror, running, Springsteen, and Boston sports, and looking forward to connecting with you all.
