I’m with @lauraroeder.bsky.social on this. Just because I haven’t opened your emails in a while doesn’t mean I want to unsubscribe. I open fewer than 1/12 of any emails from a list at all but when I do it means I finally have time to be engaged, maybe even buy. “Cleaning” precludes this

This part specifically drives me absolutely bananas. If your site has very specific password requirements then just generate a password for me and tell me what it is. Password generators don’t help here because you have to enter in the site’s specific weird requirements. Infuriating

I feel I know these should work but and yet I am somehow skeptical that anyone reads them. Either way ours need improvement and I should just hire you for this shouldn’t I?

Definitely not from summaries. In the past a 15 min pairing session could just disappear from memory in an instant. Today, if I pair with someone, we can get a full searchable transcript of the session with zero additional effort. That’s been a nice win for our team in the past year

For entry level/fresh out of school roles, however, there is an element of “learning how to work” that is being lost imo. e.g. how to collaborate, focus, behave, present, and grow professionally. It’s hard to learn this sitting in your home office by yourself
