I love spending 1 1/2 hours working with a client to help them find the exact part/ model number of hardware they need for their project, only to send them the quote and have then call me to say they put the model # into Amazon and can get it for $15 less there, so thanks but no thanks.

Reports of ICE in Holyoke apparently wrong- ACLU and Workers Center people investigated multiple sites and saw no activity, and spoke to workers who had not seen any.

I want to talk about other stuff, so here are some of my controversial opinions:

Bob Dylan was a talentless edge-lord

The Beatles would have faded to obscurity without the Monkeys

Higher Ground is the only RHCP song worthy of note

The Pixies would have been better with more studio polish

To all friends and neighbors: if you feel threatened or uncomfortable going somewhere you need or want to go because you are anything other than a straight, white, male Christian nationalist- I will go with you, I will stand in line with you, if you need to hide for a bit, I have a guest room.

Well, I never really thought of myself as trans, but according to presidential executive order, I am now female. So that's a thing.

Books! Recommending a few audiobooks:

Garth Nix, Old Kingdom series. Read by Tim Curry. Fantastic.

Fonda Lee, Green Bone Saga. Read by Andrew kishino. Great books, reader does a good job making the text stand out while allowing himself to fade into the background.

Hello, dog loving friends who may have rescue connections: I'm looking for a rescue in the northeastern US who specialize in hound breeds. Any information appreciated, thank you. (Edward is fine, this is for another dog)
