It’s a farcical situation but not one that’s all on Moyes. What is on Moyes is making the best of what we have available & being more creative in that regard / braver would’ve seen better outcomes in the games where points dropped. Not starting Grealish at Leeds set this tone! It’s a familiar one!

Can we move to the stage where the Manager doesn’t need a month of fans begging for pretty clear & much needed tactical changes like Garner at RB before it happens?! Surely it should be the other way round & the coaches working with the players every day can see where the glaring issues are first?!

We’ve got a problem in the attacking wide areas as none of Politano, Neres, Lang or…err… Elmas (?!) are consistent enough & even on a good day won’t trouble elite opposition.
Needs a re-boot in that area of the team.

Yeah almost like a second opportunity to get it right. It’s frustrating to see.
Who coaches the attacking players currently, I can’t imagine who it is & it feels / looks like it’s nobody.

McNeil busting a gut to get up to help there as well. Absolutely pitiful. We can’t counter attack with no runners. Shambles.

He could’ve played Gana in early for the return but the defender would’ve likely showed him down the line & prevented the return ball. It was good defending but we were also too slow like that break away at Man City last season. Why we haven’t bought genuine pace for last 3 years is mind bending.

Should be tucking that one away to win it (they missed one after this but score here & it’s 3 points)

Managing teams at a hut on Bournemouth beach & a tin shack in Croydon respectively. Palace had never won a thing til May & Bournemouth are a Division 1 sized outfit.
We really need to improve our self esteem as a Club. I know it’s been dragged last few years but if we don’t believe who else will?!

Sending a dazed McNeil on to stagger about while Röhl, Alcaraz & Dibling vow to change agents. Shambles.
& Billy McKinley sitting there swearing to himself on the bench as well. Grim grim grim environment.
Who in this crew coaches the attackers?

Aim higher pal. Use Villa’s approach as a template. Emery was under contract they sold it to him, paid out his contract & look now. So if you like your PL experience then Iraola or Glasner. Otherwise Carsley would do it. Driven & impressive coaches. Have to sell it to the best people & pay them.

Moyes just standing there pointing 👉🏼 as in “get it forward” in 2nd half.
Not using full backs in attack, no CM running beyond the always 1 striker, no set piece competency at either end, no sorting ongoing issues like striker finishing or defending too deep. Team not being coached. Koeman 2? ⛳️

A little harsh on Alcaraz there. His support was Gana who was knackered so wasn’t up with him for that kind of give & go.
If Moyes had been braver & got Dibling on instead of McNeil we might have had someone up there who could run in the later stages so the counter attack was on, but he wasn’t.
