I took a untypical time-out on my cycle commute home today. Lots of recent changes needed thinking about. I took two photos on Yatton Station, one towards London and one towards Penzance. Rather reminded me of life’s journey - I have come from that direction, I wonder what is down there…

Recently one of the Cats Protection volunteers here in Glastonbury, UK rescued a mum who gave birth to these little treasures.

Alfie finally relaxes and has his first deep sleep for is possibly a long time. His collar comes off next Monday which he’ll be VERY pleased about 😻🐈

rescued this chap this evening. Nasty wound on hind quarters which needs a stitch. Tail broken near base and he has no feeling, so likely amputate 🥺Full male cat, about 2-5 years old and has not been chipped 🤬so he’ll be chipped as well.

Yesterday we received the most wonderful message that this fella has found his forever home with a new family. This is such good news 😻

In April 23 a frightened black cat appeared in our garden. Over the next few months, our little rescue friend, took up residence with us. We loved him and kept him warm and fed, and he loved us too in his own way.
He had a seizure and died this evening.
Sleep well Sherlock, it was our privilege. 🥲
