When I see little things like this, I think of Harper Rawls, protagonist in my Virtual Wars series, and the childhood she could have had.

Then I write backstory and maybe this time, I'll give her a little time to play? Nah, probably not. Dystopian sci-fi has standards, lol!

I’ve heard the new regime occupying the people’s house called many things. Whether it’s kakistocracy, or aristocracy, or oligarchy, I think there’s one simpler made-up term that covers it better: hipocracy. I submit to you this new term and it’s definition.

Ethnic Cleansing by Any Other Name is an article by Right and Freedom. Slurs have been floating about like dandelion seeds on a stiff breeze. Whatever. Wee don't care what the names are, but whatever the name is for people who don't like killing babies is...that's us.

Manosphere = Toxic Masculinity. This is something I try really hard to make sure my male protagonists do not truck with. Steer clear of the manosphere, but also...understand what it is and why we should care.
