I might be late to the party here, but I was scrolling through my #CarPlay screens this week and found the @nytimes.com logo. It's for their audio. And in their audio, they have a few more things, like Reporter Reads, than you get in the Apple Podcasts app as a subscriber. Nice!

Here’s an interesting anniversary I heard about today. A few days ago, it was the 80th anniversary of the filing of the first patent for a microwave oven. That’s 1945. I thought they were a 1970’s/80’s thing. There you go!

I haven’t traveled much recently but on Friday took off and the plane went over my little hometown of Bellingen. I recalled the cities I’ve peered out the window at: Sao Paolo 22m, Beijing 20m, Tokyo 38m, Shanghai 26m and NY 19m. And here’s little old Bello with 3k people. I’m good with that.
