This is how I feel having bought and started Hollow Knight at my kid's urging. That is not my kind of game, but here I am dying over and over again and I can't tell if I'm having fun.

The first ep I saw was when he really wanted to share pancakes with the gems and they were just and turned him down, and then he went into Garnet's room without her permission and needed to be rescued. But I watched all the seasons because the rest of the cast slayed. The dudes carried it and were my favorite part of the show. I'm also not a fan of the type of character who kind've bumbles and intrudes and temporarily makes shit bad for the others but in the end it's actually for the good.

Jess was the worst part of New Girl. I didn't even wanna watch it initially because I hate that archetype of the woman character who's both so innocent and needs protection but also everyone wants to smash. It's weird and infantilizing to me.

I did a rewatch of Frasier and Niles was creepy. What was played for a cute crush now looks really stalkerish. And I hate how they did Donnie. Like, I know he and Daphne wouldn't actually be endgame, but having them run out on his wedding day? I'm glad he sued their assess.
