Fair few verses about God smiting his enemies, an obsession with race guilt, then there was the incident of drowning the entire biosphere apart from one arc, and the binding of Isaac. Plus he had his own son seek crucifixion.

We are not in 1940, thanks to the Triple lock Pension payments many going to millionaires are out of control, whilst motability revenues for BMWs topped £7bn. Yes there is need but also huge levels of waste.

The world is full of people very unlike us, if we only do business with friends we do business with no one. But nor should we be Naiive. We need to play to win, not just show up or be the nice nerd who referees the game and is abused by all the players.

Ukraine shows the price of giving up nuclear weapons. A nuclear armed Ukraine would have been a different prospect.

I think Democrats were acting as restraint on level of violence in Gaza that has now vanished, we see this on the ground. Re Ukraine I expect this to end next year as Ukrainians are exhausted with Moldova and Baltics becoming new conflicts. Waiting to see what happens in Georgia today.

We have seen Netanyahu significantly increase the violence against Palestinians since the vote and the ethnic cleansing of Northern Gaza is in full swing. I expect Trump to set the world ablaze in a fairly literal way.

Some of the Ancient Greek plot lines free will versus fate. The horror and pity of war, vengeance love and sex seem rather more interesting despite the desperate shortage of sharks (A Trojan shark was surely a missed opportunity)
