Please note that the NY Times column "Best of Late Night" linked to every other major network host EXCEPT Colbert. They didn't want you to see this!!

His comics brought a lot of joy to a lot of people. But then he worked mightily to deny medical care to people who had less money than himself. Karma?

NORAD is a component of a doomsday machine designed to kill more people in 1/2 hour than Auschwitz did in 4 years. The policy of the nuclear-armed nations, the threat to annihilate the human race, needs to be eliminated, not made "warm and fuzzy" with Santa Claus.

(2/2) But "our opponents?" That's just jumping into the maga gutter and alienating people we need to vote against trump.

(1/2) Calling "our opponents" names is stupid and counterproductive. Have you learned nothing from Hillary's "basket of deplorables" calamity? You can correctly describe individuals (like trump, vance, etc.) to be disgusting, cruel, and craven, because they are.

You left out a VERY important fact. Ford was APPOINTED vice president by Nixon, He got that opportunity thanks to the utter corruption of his VP Spiro Agnew who resigned when indicted. Nixon OBVIOUSLY appointed a fellow sleeze who would pardon him, whether it was an explicit quid pro quo or not.

To be fair, the actual representatives were allowed to garner large "campaign contributions" which in a rational society would be called bribes.

yes, it's endlessly frustrating. here's an example from the Washington Post where the headline is the exact OPPOSITE of what happened:

Thanks for posting this! I remember MAD as having sparked my skepticism of advertising. I forgot about this aspect.

"watch the full episode" is false. the 2nd half is paywalled.
March 13, 2025 at 10:10 PM
it's worse than that. It is a vehicle for unlimited untrackable bribes, foreign and domestic.
