Lovely! Was inspired by the recent news to pop in to the National Museum of Scotland yesterday to see the Deskford Carnyx and reconstruction.
Reconstructed carnyx head, a stylised bore's head with pink tongue, red eye, pointy ears and mane as ridge on stem Remaining parts of original carnyx, parts of heas in brown green metal showing mouth opening and eye socket.
