The iMac G3 from 2001 is my favourite-looking computer of all time, but it's completely unusable these days because of its age.

So I tore out its insides (leaving the CRT screen intact of course) and replaced them with a brand new Mac Mini M4.
This 25-Year-Old iMac is Faster Than My Gaming PC
I dragged this iMac G3, kicking and screaming, 25 years into the present by swapping its innards for a brand new Mac Mini M4. Two weekends in a row I’ve been up on roofs and I’m now certain I could never do that sort of work professionally.

This only really makes sense with the context of what it’s replying to, but I now feel satisfied I can call it for my consumption of “the internet” today.
I heard there was a secret ooze
It turned four turtles into dudes
But you don't really care for pizza, do ya?

They fought like this,
Two swords, a stick
A couple sai
Some nunchuck tricks
Those Ninja boys-a callin

Ooh. Aah. Ooooooh aaaaaah.
Facebook may not be good for much but…

Today’s Memories has reminded me that it’s a year since my wife called the lion, in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, “Aswad”.

Decided I *do* care about quality, impartial tech journalism enough to subscribe to @theverge.com for 12 months. Genuinely uneasy about where the world of disappearing platforms and influencer sponsored content is headed. Don’t get me wrong, some good stuff out there, but few and far between.

Well, even with knowledge of the ban ahead of New Year, I did not have “nationalise TikTok” on my 2025 US news bingo card
Trump says he’ll delay TikTok ban, but the platform must be sold
The incoming president also says he wants the US government to buy it, which is ?????

If The Masked Singer is teaching us one thing this series, it's that the show could survive with just the backing performers alone.

Final run through complete. I'll be presenting "Lighting up The Lantern - Bauer's new London Broacast Centre" (basically the last 2 years of my working life!) at Radio Tech Con tomorrow. It definitely won't be a form of therapy session, not a bit.
