By a mile, the most spectacular flock of birds I've ever seen living out here was three years ago and this amazing group of Glossy Ibis.
That tone of chestnut brown and voluminous dark green, just amazing..
They are very uncommon, so stunned to see this large group by an ocean pool..

Nature can be so amazing...
1000's of miles of snowshoeing and hiking in the wilderness, [over 23 years living out in NH], first time I've seen a Moose..
This was a Cow and her calf from the previous Spring..

A Green Throated Carib.
One of the cooler names for a Humming Bird species, fresh from a dusk time, nectar drink, out in Guadeloupe.

Northern Flickers area such a stunning bird and very rare to see in Winter here..
I'm lucky as this one arrives early, their usual diet are ants.. The 'Flicker' in the name is the tongue he uses on ground feeding of ants, in the frozen NH tundra, no ants, so they migrate..
Stunning bird in flight..
