It is and I hope whoever files for a TRO does it in the same court and ends up in front of the same judge that obliterated the attorney attempting to defend the Fascist Cheeto’s revocation of birthright citizenship.

Just like every time I see that awful shade of green and blue, I reflexively start singing about building a bonfire 😉 🌲🪓 I’m here for your Cascadia banter, sir. But also, please don’t tell anyone I was nice to a Sounders fan.

“Under existing policy, in-person managers may continue to flex time to go to appointments or family commitments.”

Good news, city workers! You’ll be forced to spend time and money to commute again, but at least you’re not banned from going to the doctor or seeing your kids every once in a while.

Not to be a Debbie Downer (or a contrarian) but this would’ve been much more helpful before the election, when people knew the Orange Menace was going to be the GOP nominee. I’m worried it’s too little and too late.

What am I supposedly lying about?

Well knock yourself out, tiger. I never did get the appeal of trolling and flinging insults to strangers on the internet, but whatever floats your boat, I guess. You do you.

I didn’t tag you in my response, but you felt the need to chime in with this enlightened take?

LOL. Congrats on winning the internet. And thanks for reminding me that discussing anything on social media usually ends in some kind of juvenile poop-flinging and name-calling.

So…what is that supposed to show? You’re going through a lot of effort to try to have a gotcha moment when, TBH, nothing I’ve said is all that controversial. If you want to think you somehow dunked on me, go on ahead if it makes you feel better about things. But I’m done with the convo 👋

Nope, been pretty consistently saying that it’s not a recognized sovereign nation or state from the very beginning. And that’s not changed in any way by the UN calling it an “observer-state.”
January 10, 2025 at 7:40 PM
You seem pretty intent on making this personal and about whether I recognize Palestine or what I believe. I’m actually in favor of a two-state solution and a sovereign Palestinian state. But what I want or believe have nothing to do whether it actually exists under international law.
January 10, 2025 at 7:32 PM
According to your own document, the UN declined to give it full member status. It was given this pseudo-member, separate status specifically because there was some conflict in whether it actually was an independently-functioning country or not.

The United Nations and other sovereign nations under international law. It’s not just a matter of random people believing in something - statehood and sovereignty are governed by complicated international laws.
January 10, 2025 at 6:54 PM
I seriously have no idea why you think I’m being obtuse - I’m literally just stating the objectively true fact that there is currently no recognized, sovereign nation of Palestine. Many people in the world thinks that there should be, but it currently doesn’t exist.
