I've put together a short summary of the updates recently introduced to Opta's Expected Goals on Target (xGOT) model. These include:

The weather has undoubtedly helped, but the opening two rounds of the County Championship has produced some thrilling contests which have gone right to final hour. Tight games at Lord’s, Taunton and now CLS, with huge swings in momentum from session to session. A great advert for 🔴 ball 🏏

News of another official data partnership between Stats Perform and a domestic women's soccer league in North America ⬇️

The inaugural #NSL campaign kicks off this Wednesday, 16th April, with Vancouver hosting Calgary at BC Place.
Establishing a new era in Canadian sport.

🤝 Stats Perform has been named the official data partner of the Northern Super League, the country's first professional domestic soccer league.

The inaugural season kicks off April 16, featuring six teams from across Canada.
