Andy is stood with a paint brush, spot checking a painting for stray scratches and marks.

The view is of a white room -white floorboards and white painted walls and ceiling - the archetypal white gallery. There are 2 paintings . A large, intensely blue painting, aview of a streetlights with an intensely dark blue sky behind it.

Andy is touching up a much smaller painting very definitely containing a similar hue and toned dark sky, but the rest of the details are obscured.

That sounds great 😍 bet it'sdoing what it needs to do... it was friend @franhalsall.bsky.social that made me realise how green lawns aren't great for life of all kjnds so we've turned our garden around with her guidance and know how.

From a few days ago: there was something strangely uncanny/metaphysical about these clouds. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but they all appeared to have flat bottoms. Ack, I don't know. Still it made for a lovely image.

At the bottom of the image is the line of rooves of a Sheffield terrace with a line of chimneys showing. The image is brightly lit with sunshine and blue sky. There are clouds dotted all over, whose bottoms are oddly flat, without any wisps, all heading into the distance.

I realise I've not been on Bluesky much of late. I should start posting once again asap. It's been a beautiful summer so far.

Here's some pics of our insect haven I planted this year which is coming along a treat. 🦟🦋🐛🐜🐝🐞🦗

Entering what appears to be a typical Sheffield garden. Red brick buidlings surround this patch of green. An elder tree can be seen next to an old wash house with chimney showing. Ivy of various kinds grows up the wall of the wash house. In fronts is a lawn with an oval of flowers planted to entice insects and brids of all kinds. You can also see some white chairs with a sun shade over a matching table

Here you can see the wall of the wash house, the elder tree the wall behind the tree and a row of a Sheffield terrace behind. In front is a line of plants which surround a lawn, with an oval of flowers in the centre of the lawn.
