Priests kept turning up at my old games club (this was in a church). They said they were there for a private ceremony, then they take a friend to one side and give them the last rights. I'm told it's cancer.

Well managed to put in an application for the environmental job. Will see if they're interested in me in about a weeks time.
Even if I do get the job I wouldn't start till after the busy season in my current position.
Not going to lie, the extra £500 a month will be really good.

Obviously, no one is actually trying to force you to drink a lib-coded pumpkin-spiced transgender coffee. But, in the UK at least, most places don't have filter coffee or "black coffee" on the menu. So they will ask you if you want an Americano. I guess it's more of a stretch in the USA?

I'm getting overwhelmed with the extra work dumped on my current department, so it's motivation to apply for the new position.

Selling my board games on FB:MP has been an actually positive experience.
Buyers aren't time wasters, it's pretty easy to tell they're genuine people when they're nerding out about games with you.
I've had some buyers not want add-ons which required lots of sorting, but overall a good experience.

I went out out last night to the best CAMRA pub in the UK (Tamworth Tap). We had a lovely time drinking beer and mead. There was a wassailing going on outside!
We made the mistake of trying other bars. The arcade machine was broken, another was a drama magnet with crap beer on tap. Lesson learned.
