If this is a significant problem, the way to deal is the immigration system, not doctors and nurses turning away people needing to be stabilized depending on whether they can pay or are undocumented. Can you imagine personnel sorting that out as the person just needs to be stabilized? Good grief 🤦🏻‍♀️

And how many didn’t express thoughts for fear of the same? The real damage is far greater than the 145 reflects

Unfortunately a lot of people DO care and this group of people have been subjected to hatred and stigma for all of history. I hope that that is changing but until it does, they’d like to have a parade to show what they have overcome, to let others know that they aren’t alone, and it decrease stigma

This has nothing to do with fighting illegal immigration. They sent a person entitled to due process to a torture prison in a foreign country - that’s not the same as deportation. Now they’re defying the judicial branch’s order to make it right. Everything else is a distraction.

So instead of thoughtfully considering whether something is good for Hoosiers, he’s admitting that he’ll rubber stamp the Trump agenda. Just what we need!

This is a crazy story but any “leader” suggesting that ignoring a court order is the way to get something done needs to take a civics class and should be nowhere near our government.

Just the kind of stand up guy I trust to decide the fates of thousands of workers and be on the lookout for his own conflicts of interest.

Ugh… just why?? Their strategy is so obvious - don’t ask for permission or try to do things the right/legal way, do things that are obviously illegal and then see if they’ll let you get away with it. Call their bluff already!
