Loved the post and ordered that 7”. Thanks for the heads up. As a baseball obsessed person who works in the music industry, this couldn’t be more in my wheelhouse. Ha.And on the topic of baseball themed bands, I’ve got to shout out Puig Destroyer (the name being a play on the band Pig Destroyer).

I think my emotional zenith was Kersh getting his guy. It had all the hallmarks of another “no…not like this” soul crushing “Kershaw October narrative” moment, but instead he rewrote it (for 1/3 of an inning) and MAN it felt good.

And to do that after their recent string of…”suboptimal” outings? And without Vesia? And after the team effectively assigns Roki to the bullpen because… <gestures at everything>??? Amazing. Truly. And that the hero was a kid with 22 CAREER innings who was DFA’d by OAKLAND earlier this year? Chills
