Therapy has been phenomenal! I have an LGBTQ+ friendly therapist who apologizes every time we talk about it on behalf of the profession. It’s refreshing.

Generally, it’s people who are misguided. I got my comeuppance later when I testified against the therapist and he lost his licensure and all of his scholarly work was retracted.

I was told if I married a woman it would go away. Newsflash: it didn’t. It doesn’t work. It will never work. Full stop. Anyone peddling it deserves to have their licensure revoked and shamed.

As someone who was subjected to conversion therapy, it doesn’t work. It won’t work. It’s torture. I was hooked up to an IV and made to vomit watching gay porn for two hours per week. I was prayed over. Bibles and the Book of Mormon were shoved in my face.

Update: because I’m crazy, I keep every version of my license I’ve ever had. I also had a mobile ID. I was able to get a certified copy of my drivers history and a temporary license from Utah which allowed me to get my full CA license!

Everything is so saturated. We posted a single job on LinkedIn and got thousands of unqualified applicants. To get through them takes so my much time that we have just started doing internal posts and asking employees if they know anyone.

So now I have a learner’s permit in California and must have a driver over 18 with me until I can produce my old ID or a driver’s record from Utah, or take the road test.
