Recorded the songs from my show Meme Girls. This is the opening of The Tempest, sung by Julia Murray and Yana Harris.

We had a final, sold out show of Meme Girls yesterday. Twas a great experience, working with amazing actors and a fantastic team. Critical and audience reception was amazing, hopefully I can get another life for the show in the future.

I was watching this last night and was really struck by how all the properties were owned by English people. And even the judges were English and/or v middle class. But the guy they got to show 'the other side' doing the cleaning etc was Scottish.

I'm sure I'm one of scores of unlucky people today who received a rejection for the Touring Fund. It's gutting. Over the last 4 years we made 5 high quality shows and built brilliant relationships with theatres & their audiences, but we won't be out on the road next year, which is deeply frustrating
