Modern CEOs are on the whole shallow, greedy, moral bankrupt individuals who care about one thing and one thing only, namely how much money can they squeeze out of consumers. Ethics be damned they don't give a f%&k and to pretend otherwise is delusional.

It's like the way the SWs treat farming, "it's in the blood". No experience or training required; you just absorb the knowledge by osmosis. Having grown up on a farm with a father from London who spent years training to be a farmer, this grates. The osmosis didn't work. I'm an IT manager

To be fair almost no one is covering Iran in any detail, ITN, CNN, etc. However, the BBC World Service do have regular updates on the situation there.

I am in no way proposing that anyone should attack Russia, rather that the democratic West should stand up to the murderous dictator in the Kremlin. Russia must be convinced that the age of empire is over, and to that end Ukraine should be armed with everything it needs to deal with the invader.

I can see your point, but I do not quite agree. Russia is an essential threat to the continued existence of democracies in Europe. It is well overdue that Russia was dealt with once and for all. We should have done it in 45 and saved the world from decades of suffering and millions of deaths.

100% agree. But they only leave after having suffered significant casualties and, sadly, after having killed vast numbers of the local population. In Iraq, hundreds of thousands, and in Vietnam, millions.

Yeah, I know that. It was basically to say that NATO would be finished, with the US out; however, the remaining members should give Denmark everything it needs to kill and maim as many of the invaders as possible.
