I joined my peak principal association colleagues today to speak with Jason Clare MP on school leader wellbeing, teacher shortages, and ensuring effective implementation of the new school funding agreement. We spoke with strong solidarity about the need to support all of our young people.

More and more kids are attending schools where the majority of their peers are socio-economically disadvantaged. Meanwhile, most of our federal politicians were privately educated, and many own multiple properties. This can't be good for our democracy. #democracy #inequality #segregation #education

Could this be why there’s so little urgency about getting our public schools fully funded? Roughly the inverse proportion (64-ish%) of kids currently attend public school.
